Playground Love evolves from the desire to create a modern seating object that invites people to linger, attend to and talk with each other. It does so by rethinking the classic club chair: retaining its function but updating its traditional production methods and questioning its social associations. Playground Love thereby aims to return the old gentlemen’s club chair to the present and reimagine who can take a seat.
